Lux Afrique Polo Day 2019 proved that this is fast becoming the social event for people of colour in London. Founded by Alexander Amosu and only in its second annual inaugural edition this event attracted the well-heeled and many a celebrity could be spotted sipping champagne or getting down on the dance floor. The event itself showcased top international polo players from across Africa going head to head in an exhilarating match of polo. The aim is, each year,  to showcase the different up-and-coming teams from the region, championing the rapidly growing sport in Africa and providing a platform for young and emerging African talent to compete on prestigious, British grounds.
